This post is for our school day for Wednesday June 9th. 

Thursday is Day 4 on our daily cycle and we will be following our regular schedule as we always would, so you will be doing Literacy, Math, Social Studies/Science (we will also do Dance during this time), and French. You will be going to the Google classrooms for each subject to get your work that I have posted.

Today will be SYNCHRONOUS learning, meaning that  we will be live for most of the day except for 25 minutes each block for independent work and except for recess and lunch. 

As usual the school day begins at 9:10am.

-Reading:

-Literature Circles now ongoing while we read through the Novel Hatchet.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Grade 5: Complete the Relating Fractions to Decimals Action Task and Your Turn Questions on the Math Google Classroom. Remember to always read through the entire Google Classroom post! Comparing, Representing, and Ordering Fractions Performance Task now complete PLEASE HAND IN ASAP!

-Grade 6: Completed the Integers Performance Task.

Social Studies:

-Grade 6: Complete Task #5: "Assignment #1: Canada Lends a Helping Hand"  - Due today!

Health:

-Grade 5's: Finish choice board by next health class - WAS DUE ON Wednesday June 2nd...NOW OVERDUE. 

-Grade 6's: Complete your Fitness Energizer Health Breaks by Friday so we can start doing them with the class! Instructions are on the Google Classroom.

Visual Arts:

-Currently in Dance unit.

Drama/Dance:

-Dance and Culture Research Project (and TEN SECOND dance routine). - Due Friday June 11th.
