Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Choose a reading strategy and make a 1/2 page RRJ entry to chapters 19 and 20.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-See notes on the Google Classroom. Use your Boxes and Bullets strategies to now revise your reports by filling in the gaps from last day and THEN grow ideas and theories from your research to include in your reports.
-From last day: Take notes to fill in your information gaps with Boxes and Bullets. Grow ideas from the notes you take. 

-Media Literacy:
-Health brochures now complete.



Math:

-Metric conversions sheet.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Work on Science "How it's Made" project.


Social Studies:
-Have the complete Political Parties Jigsaw package filled in by next Social Studies class (for ALL the parties).



Health:

-Completed list of Personal factors vs. Social factors influencing someone's decision to drink alcohol.


Visual Arts:
-Sketching week #1: Was Mr. V's shoes


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation activities.
