This post is for our school day for Thursday June 10th. 

Friday is Day 5 on our daily cycle and we will be following our regular schedule as we always would, so you will be doing Literacy, Math, Social Studies/Science, Dance, and French. You will be going to the Google classrooms for each subject to get your work that I have posted.

Today will be SYNCHRONOUS learning, meaning that  we will be live for most of the day except for 25 minutes each block for independent work and except for recess and lunch. 

As usual the school day begins at 9:10am.

Language:

-Reading:

-Literature Circles now ongoing while we read through the Novel Hatchet.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

Science:

-Grade 5: Currently in Social Studies unit.

-Grade 6: Air and Flight Task #1 will be checked on Friday.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: First Contact Menu - will be due on Monday June 14th.

-Grade 6: Complete Task #5: "Assignment #1: Canada Lends a Helping Hand"  - Now due!

Health:

-Grade 5's: Choice board - WAS DUE ON Wednesday June 2nd...NOW OVERDUE. 

-Grade 6's: Complete your Fitness Energizer Health Breaks by Friday so we can start doing them with the class! Instructions are on the Google Classroom.

Visual Arts:

-Currently in Dance unit.

Drama/Dance:

-Dance and Culture Research Project (and TEN SECOND dance routine). - Due Friday June 11th.
