This post is for our school day for Thursday June 24th. 

Friday is Day 5 on our daily cycle and we will be following our regular schedule as we always would, so you will be doing Literacy, Math, Science, Drama and French. Today is an important day to show up because we are closing in on completing the last stages of our work for the year. 

Today will be SYNCHRONOUS learning, meaning that  we will be live for most of the day except for 25 minutes each block for independent work and except for recess and lunch. 

As usual the school day begins at 9:10am.

-Reading:

-We have now completed reading the novel Hatchet. Comparative piece between Hatchet and The Wild Robot - now due! 

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

Health:

-Grade 5's: Choice board - WAS DUE ON Wednesday June 2nd...NOW OVERDUE. 

-Grade 6's: Tic Tac Toe Health Assignment (on Google Classroom) Now due.

Visual Arts:

-Currently in Dance unit.

Drama/Dance:

-Responding to Dance Reflection  - Now due. -Dance and Culture Research Project (and TEN SECOND dance routine). - Now overdue.
