This post is for our school day for Friday June 25th. 

Monday is a Day 0 on our daily cycle and we will be following our modified schedule. We will be continuing our work on Growth and development, but we will not be following the regular schedule of subjects.

Language:

-Reading:

-We have now completed reading the novel Hatchet. Comparative piece between Hatchet and The Wild Robot - now due! 

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:

-Poetry Cafe presentations now complete!

-Media Literacy:

Math:

-Grade 5: Now completed all our lessons for the year. As promised, if there are any expectations that we have not covered, they will be posted over the summer on the Math Google Classroom so that students can access them and practice their Math Skills.

-Grade 6: Complete the Comparing Experimental and Theoretical Probability Action Task and Your Turn Questions on the Math Google Classroom. Remember to always read through the entire Google Classroom post.

-Grade 5: Forces Unit Bridges final task due on Monday.

-Grade 6: Air and Flight Design Challenge Culminating task. Now due!

Social Studies:

Grade 5: Fur Fair Role Plays - Presentations now ongoing.

Grade 6: Currently in Science unit

Health:

-Grade 5's: Awareness Campaign Choice board - WAS DUE ON Wednesday June 2nd...NOW OVERDUE. 

-Grade 6's: Tic Tac Toe Health Assignment (on Google Classroom) Now over due.

Visual Arts:

-Currently in Dance unit.

Drama/Dance:

-Dance and Culture Research Project (and TEN SECOND dance routine). - Now overdue.
