This post is for our school day for Monday June 14th. 

Tuesday is Day 2 on our daily cycle and we will be following our regular schedule as we always would, so you will be doing Literacy, Math, Social Studies/Science, and Phys. Ed. You will be going to the Google classrooms for each subject to get your work that I have posted.

Today will be SYNCHRONOUS learning, meaning that  we will be live for most of the day except for 25 minutes each block for independent work and except for recess and lunch. 

As usual the school day begins at 9:10am.

Language:

-Reading:

-We have now completed reading the novel Hatchet. Comparative piece between Hatchet and The Wild Robot - due Wednesday June 16th. 

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

Science:

-Grade 5: Currently in Social Studies unit.

-Grade 6: Air and Flight Task #3 will be checked at the end of Tuesday.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: First Contact Menu - now due.

-Grade 6: Currently in Science unit.

Health:

-Grade 5's: Choice board - WAS DUE ON Wednesday June 2nd...NOW OVERDUE. 

-Grade 6's: Complete your Fitness Energizer Health Breaks by Friday June 11th so we can start doing them with the class! Instructions are on the Google Classroom.

Visual Arts:

-Currently in Dance unit.

Drama/Dance:

-Dance and Culture Research Project (and TEN SECOND dance routine). - Now due.
