-Reading:
-Hatchet Novel Study Reading Tasks.


-Writing:
-Revise your Research Report focusing on writing STYLE and making it WELL written (think about the documentary clip we watched).


Math:
-MATH TEST WAS TODAY.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program:

-Comment on the Science Google Classroom postings.


Social Studies:
-Bring in 6 "artifacts" in for next day 5.

-Performance of 5 bar melody due are currently being presented.
-Currently in "What's in a Theme?" unit.
-Compose a 5 bar melody to represent the Tortoise and the Hare.

Grade 5 Music (Mr. Merali)
-Ukulele work has started. 
-Practice all current songs from last music class and fill in Practice Logs after every practice time you complete.

-Currently in "O Canada and Lands Beyond" unit.
-Complete the Composition on the 5 line staff from the Melodic contour you created in class.

-Our recorder unit is coming up!

These are the APPROXIMATE levels corresponding to belts:
White =  3-

Yellow = 3- (Grade 3) /3 (Grade 4)

Orange = 3 (Grade 3) /3+ (Grade 4)

Green = 3+ (Grade 3) /4- (Grade 4)

Purple = 4 -  --> 4
Beyond Purple = 4 -->  4+
