Homework, News, and Announcements

Homework:

Language:

-Reading:
-Reading Response Journal Entry: Grow a "Big Idea" or Theory into a more COMPLEX (complicated and deeper) theory in the novel Hatchet. Do this by using the sentence prompts we discussed in class. DUE January 31. 


-Writing:
-Flash Drafts of Research Report should be completed and they should not be fact-checked, and self-assessed using the Information Writing Checklist.
-Choose any piece of reading we did in Social Studies (article, etc.) and take notes on it. Then reflect on your collected notes and grow a "Big Idea." Finally, write a full sentence paragraph from your collected notes and the "Big Idea."


Math:
-REVIEW page 152.153 #1,2,4,5,6,8,9,11,12
-Workbook page 49 and 50.
-The TEST for Measurement will be on Thurday.
