Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-We have started our Tuck Everlasting trailers and are currently working on them in class.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Cursive I,J.
-Self-Assess your research report (see notes from last Writing lesson).

-Media Literacy:
-Looking at advertisements with alcohol related products (see Health section).


Math:

-Irregular 3D shapes gallery walk CONTINUES tomorrow. Make sure you have your instructions and diagrams finished for your snap cube "creature."
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Complete the first page of the sources of energy package for YOUR assigned source of energy (see Google classroom for further information and resources).


Social Studies:
-In your political party groups, write your TWO bill proposals and be ready with your debate organizer for TOMORROW's town hall meeting...this will CONTINUE TOMORROW!



Health:

-Completed front side of scenarios worksheet.


Visual Arts:
-Sketching week #2: Favourite snack and a pile of fruit. 


Drama/Dance:
-Staying in character package (except for the last page).
