Homework, News, and Announcements


Homework:

Language:

-Reading:
-Have a Non-Fiction, "Just Right" book ready for next reading class.
-Make Boxes and Bullets for an excerpt of your library non-fiction books in order to "teach" someone else the information....REMEMBER THAT WE WILL BE ASSESSED ON THIS FOR AN ORAL PRESENTATION!
-Hatchet Novel Study Reading Tasks (ARE NOW DUE!!!).



-Writing:
-Put final touches on your research report.
-Final research report NOW Due on MONDAY APRIL 3RD.


Math:
-Fashion Design now due!
-Pg. 260 #B,C,D and Reflecting #1,2,3.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program:

-And here are another two good websites to practice with:


Science:
-Complete the "Sources of Energy" ENTIRE PACKAGE (make sure you share your information so the other students in your group can complete their summary columns of the different sources of energy).

Social Studies:
-Complete Inuit and Algonquin sheets given out by Mrs. Yungblut.

Music:

-Ukulele unit has begun!

Grade 5 Music (Mr. Merali)
-Ukulele work has now ended.



Grade 4 Music (Mrs. Passmore's Class)
-Currently in "O Canada and Lands Beyond" unit.
-Complete the Composition on the 5 line staff from the Melodic contour you created in class.

-Our recorder unit is coming up!

These are the APPROXIMATE levels corresponding to belts:
White =  3-

Yellow = 3- (Grade 3) /3 (Grade 4)

Orange = 3 (Grade 3) /3+ (Grade 4)

Green = 3+ (Grade 3) /4- (Grade 4)

Purple = 4 -  --> 4

Beyond Purple = 4 -->  4+
