Language:


-Reading:
-Now began reading "Number the Stars". Chapter 2 will be read next day.
-PLEASE BRING (or have available) an independent reading text (a "Just Right" text).
-Here is our class "EPIC Reading" code: ury6154.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Complete your Flash draft and decide what your story is "REALLY" about. Drafts are NOW DUE feedback. 
-Pick a story from your portfolio and revicse it to include a "big meaning." Can also revise using the 4 points we discussed in today's lesson.


-Media Literacy:
-Social Justice Products and Services websites - Presentations now complete.


Math:

-Math Journal reflection from last day.

Social Studies:

-Began our work with the Artistic skill of "Stippling" and "Pointillism." - This will be due on Thursday November 4th. 


Drama/Dance:

-No homework yet. Working on our improvisation activities.
