Language:

-Reading:

-Reading Response Journal Entry making text-to-self connections to Chapter 12 of "Number the Stars" using the Empathy strategy learned from Reading Workshop on November 19th. Grade 5's 1/2 page, Grade 6's 3/4 page. Have completed by next reading class on Monday.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:

-Grade 5 and 6's - Edit for periods/sentences after making the chart we created in class -Narrative Due November 25th.

-Have begun work on "All About Me" web design. Presentations will be done on Wednesday December 2nd.

Math:

-Take up the Comparing and Ordering Decimals Concept Questions with the answers posted on the Google Classroom.

-Practice playing the games I posted throughout the unit - Performance Task to be given out Monday.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: Have now begun work on our Government Maps - 3 Levels of Government Quiz now complete - Due Wednesday November 25th

-Grade 6: Task #4 due on Thursday November 26th (resources posted to the Google Classroom).

Health:

-Grade 5's: Working on 5 frame storyboard in groups - Due for Presentation Monday November 23rd. 

Grade 6's: Write out list of factors that make you decide you want to eat/drink something - Due for Presentation Monday November 23rd.

Visual Arts:

-Began studying Islamic Art (to be continued next Art class).

Drama/Dance:

-Bullying drama role play - due for presentation Wednesday November 25th.
