Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Describe examples of how you used visualization for chapter 11 (from our lesson on Monday). Grade 5's 1/2 page, Grade 6's 3/4 page. Have completed by next reading class on Wednesday.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Grade 5 and 6's - Edit for paragraphing after making the chart we created in class -Narrative Due November 25th.


-Media Literacy:
-Have begun work on "All About Me" web design.


Math:

-Comparing and Ordering Decimals Action Task and Your Turn Questions will be due on Wednesday. Try the game as well! It is posted on the Math Google Classroom.

-Grade 5: Currently on our Social Studies unit.
-Grade 6: Currently on our Social Studies unit.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: Scavenger Hunt graphic organizer due on Wednesday November 18th.
-Grade 6: Task #3 due for completion Thursday November 12th.


Health:
-Grade 5's: Working on 5 frame storyboard in groups - Due for Presentation Monday November 23rd. 
Grade 6's: Write out list of factors that make you decide you want to eat/drink something - Due for Presentation Monday November 23rd.


Visual Arts:
-Indigenous Line Art now due!
-Began studying Islamic Art (to be continued next Art class).


Drama/Dance:

-Have now begun bullying drama role play.
