This post is for our school day for Thursday May 6th. 

Friday will be Day 2 on our daily cycle and we will be following our regular schedule as we always would, so you will be doing Literacy, Math, Science, Phys. Ed. and French. You will be going to the Google classrooms for each subject to get your work that I have posted.

Today will be SYNCHRONOUS learning, meaning that  we will be live for most of the day except for 25 minutes each block for independent work and except for recess and lunch. 

As usual the school day begins at 9:10am.

FRENCH:

Finalize your 'Montre et Raconte #3' (following suggestions from madame and checking Success Criteria posted in the assignment)

Due Monday: we will practise pronunciations Mon/Tues, presentations will start Wed/Thurs next week. 

Language:

-Reading:

-Read a Narrative Non-fiction text and answer the prompts I put into the comments section of the Reading Google Classroom.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:

-Create your Heart Maps (these are important as they will be used throughout the unit) and Your Self Portraits. Due by Friday May 7th.

-Media Literacy:

-Grade 5: Complete slide 18, slide 19 has the solution.

-Grade 6: Complete slide 18, slide 19 has the solution.

Science:

-Grade 5: Working on the Conservation of Energy Inquiry Booklet Due on Friday May 7th.

-Grade 6: Start planning the design of your game.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: Currently in Science Unit

Health:

-Grade 5's: Group role play scenarios have begun. 

-Grade 6's: Role-Plays now complete.

Visual Arts:

-Northern Lights activity NOW DUE.

Drama/Dance:

-We have now began our Dance Unit.
