Important Update!!!

Hello again,

There have been some decisions made by the school board that has changed our plans and how we will begin our online learning. Changes were expected because as you know...this is the first time we have gone through this experience in education.

When last I wrote you, the plan was that:

-We will be using the Google classroom to access material and resources much like we have done up to this point now in the school year. THIS IS STILL THE CASE!

-We might have used online video Apps like "Go to Meeting."
A new update is that this will NOT be happening at the moment. There are certain obstacles that the school board would have to work out before we engage in this. This was a very recent (today) update to the plan.

-I was to have set "office hours" where it was to be dedicated times where you could send me questions, ask for support and feedback on the work we will be doing.
A new update is that you can still send me questions and ask for feedback however, there will be NO SET office hours dedicated to feedback. This is because there may be limitations of when you are able to use your devices during the day and if you don't have access during the specific office hours for whatever reason...then this would be a challenge. Instead I will be checking THROUGHOUT each school day and answering questions as they come in as often as I am able to. That way you don't have to worry about if you've "missed" the office hours.

This blog is STILL our "home base."
From here it will provide you information on which Google Classrooms you need to go to and it will give you any other information you will need on what we are doing and if anything changes.

Please keep checking in with the blog and expect our first lesson to be posted Monday morning.

We give our apologies for the changes, but we appreciate you being patient as this is the first time our school board (and the world of education) has ever experienced something like this.

The subjects we will continuing on will be Math, Language, Science, and Social Studies (for now) Expect that on Monday morning, we will be continuing our exploration into Fractions as we began this just before the March break. This means our first stop will be the Math Google classroom.
The aim is to have the material available on the classroom by 9:10am (as is when we would start on a normal school day),

Thanks!
Mr. Vryonides.
