Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Answer the Focus Questions for Number the Stars chapters 1 - 3 in your reading response journals. The Grade 5 and Grade 6 versions of the questions are attached to the Google Classroom.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Grade 5 and 6's - Revise your personal narratives to include "flashbacks" and "flash forwards."


-Media Literacy:

Math:

-Puzzle Packaging game game is now completed. Math Journal Reflection due on Tuesday October 27th (rubric posted on the Math Google Classroom).

Grade 6's: Write out list of factors that make you decide you want to eat/drink something.


Visual Arts:
-Began Stippling/Pointillism Remembrance day task.
-Collages now due. Google assignment has been attached to the Visual Arts Google Classroom.
