Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Write what you did and the answers to the questions when you did your "book buzz."
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Grade 5 and 6's - Revise your flash draft story by re-writing a new draft of your story, this time focusing on the central question "what is the story REALLY about?" and come up with a big meaning/lesson that your reader learns by the end of the story.

-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:

-Appendix A Math challenge about the truck (on the 4TH page of the PDF attachment on the Math Google Classroom - but the actual page says page "78" on it). You will have to have an understanding of the previous pages that lead up to that or the discussion we had today in class to solve the problem.

-Bring in flyers/magazines, etc. that can be cut up for next Visual Arts class. We have begun work on our limited palette collage. We will continue this next week in class so no need to work on this at home.
