Friday from 2:40pm - 3:40pm we will be doing a pond scavenger hunt. Since you will be outside, please dress appropriately for the weather.

Language:

-Reading:

-Use the boxes and bullets strategy to summarize your assigned Non-Fiction Article.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

Science:

-Grade 5: Currently in Social Studies Unit.

Grade 6: Working on the final space task of building a model of the Solar System. Due Friday March 19th.

Social Studies:
-Grade 5: Read over your work from the Political Parties Jigsaw and choose a political party that you feel is the best for Canada. Due this by Tuesday (Day 1).

-Grade 6: Currently on our Science unit.

Health:

-Grade 5's: Commercial should be completed and ready for viewing by the class. It should have a target audience for a healthy eating product. It must include advertising persuasive techniques we discussed in class as well. 

-Grade 6's: 140 character Social Media Profile card showing your "social identity" due by next health class.

Visual Arts:

-Sketch for our Northern Lights activity to be complete by next day 4.

Drama/Dance:

-We have now began our Dance Unit.
