Lunchtime Potluck:

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the class potluck today. And thanks to all the students who helped clean up at the end of the day. I'm sure the caretakers will appreciate that tonight. A great effort from an awesome class! 
It was a great success and I hope everyone enjoyed it today.


Homework


Language:


-Reading:
-1/2 reading response about special "objects" and their significant in the novel as reflected by the most recent reading lesson.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Take notes from new research you did about your topic today, using the skills we talked about in the lesson. Then add in your own ideas, etc. (again as we discussed in the last lesson). 

-Media Literacy:

Science:
-Solar System final task has begun.


Social Studies:
-Task #2 of our new unit now due.



Health:

-The sentence prompts from today will be due for next Health class (regarding the lesson on "Am I Hungry? Am I Full?").


Visual Arts:
-We are working on our Aurora Borealis Pastel Artwork. We will be given more time in class to do this so there is no need to work on this at home.


Drama/Dance:
-Protagonist/Antagonist skit writing is in progress.
