Homework, News, and Announcements


Language:


-Reading:
-Two examples of describing scenes with visualization using today's lesson as a guide. 
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Make revisions: make sure you have a big meaning revealed by the end of your stories.-Personal narratives due by THIS Friday.

-Media Literacy:
-"All About Me" web pages due for presentation next day 5 - Now complete!


Math:

-Action Task from last day's lesson on Collecting and Organizing Data. Extra practice also posted on the Google Classroom-Assessment next week (possibly Thursday or Friday).
-"Knowledgehook" (sign up when we get the class code). 
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Assignment #1 now due and presentations ongoing. The presentations are not complete.  


Social Studies:
-Task #4 presentations now complete.


Health:

-Cyberbullying/Online Gaming "Choice Board" task -Now DUE!


Visual Arts:
-Stippling/Pointillism reflection due next Visual Arts class.


Drama/Dance:
-Group story unit has begun.
