Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:



-Reading:
-Chapter 11 discussion questions for "Number the Stars" (posted to Google Classroom) due AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT READING LESSON. 
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Make revisions based on the Story Arc from the last writing lesson.

-Media Literacy:
-"All About Me" web pages due for presentation next day 5 - Now Ongoing!


Math:

-Construct the two "Halloween" graphs (information both posted on Google Classroom). 
-SUMMATIVE "Show What You Know" now complete. Please get signed.
-Journal entry reflecting on your growth and understanding of the "Big Ideas" over the course of the unit now due. 
-***Extra practice from Nelson Math Grade 6 text book posted on the Math Google classroom. Choose questions from the selected pages that will support your learning.
-"Knowledgehook" (sign up when we get the class code).

Science:
-Assignment #1 due Thursday, November 7th.  


Social Studies:
-Task #4 due BY THE END of next Social Studies class (worked on IN-CLASS and due date to be reconsidered by next Social Studies class).


Health:

-Student Resource #5 due to be complete by next Health lesson.


Visual Arts: 
-Halloween Graded Sky activity (to be done at school).


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation unit.
