Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Respond and give a review of the ending of "Seepeetza."
-Notes on the "skimming technique" we learned about non-fiction books and then taking full notes on the article you were assigned.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Go through your paragraphs and transitions in your essays following today's lesson. (editing checklist is attached to the Google classroom).

-Study material: Pg. 351 #3 - 13, Pg. 353 #2 - 5, Pg. 355 #1 - 6 and 8.

-Final Project planning sheet due by next Science class.
