Homework, News, and Announcements


Language:


-Reading:
-Reading Response Journal Entry due next reading day (about motifs in books).
-We have started reading the class novel "Seepeetza".
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Flash Draft after boxes and bullets were completed.

-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:

-Review worksheet. - Algebra test Friday (unless Thursday's Track and Field becomes cancelled, then it will be Thursday).
-"Knowledgehook" (sign up if you haven't already with the class code: Yoyo7786). 
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Bridges package. Take notes and complete all of the package tasks (bridge sketch, label the bridges and 3 facts under the labels of the bridges).


Social Studies:
-Why Explore the World" worksheet. Due for completion next day 1.


Health:

-Bullying role plays will be completed next week (day 2).


Visual Arts:

-Sketchbooks NOW DUE.
-Music mood sketches were done today. 


Drama/Dance:

-Staying in character drama script and presentations now ongoing.
