Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Reading Response using prompts (sentence starters) from last to think deeper about our theories.
-We have started reading the class novel "Seepeetza".
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-Writing:
-Opinion writing reflecting on the articles about Milk in schools.

-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:

-Worksheets that were assigned while I was away (and the two Gizmos).
-Complete latest Knowledgehook missions.

-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Conservation of Energy Board Game - Due NEXT SCIENCE CLASS.


Social Studies:
-First Nation's Trade and Travel Routes sheet. Due next Social Studies class.


Health:

-Feelings/Behaviours/conflict placemat chart completed today.


Visual Arts:

-Abstract art sketches based on a symbolical representation of the following words: "Mind", "Motion", "Community", "Time" (using a variety of symbols, line, shading, colour, shapes, etc.). 


Drama/Dance:

-Staying in character package script writing (from the last page of the package).
