Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-"He/She Remembers" list poems.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-"Using Commas" chart...come up with 2 more examples of using commas in writing and fill more information in the last two columns of the chart. 

-Media Literacy:
-Working on "All About Me" websites - now complete.



Math:

-Divisibility Rules: come up with twenty 4 digit numbers and determine what numbers it's divisible by (using the divisibility rules reference sheet).
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Human Organ systems test completed today.


Social Studies:
-Answer the questions on the last "Stop and Think" section of the Democracy information page.  Due by next Day 1 Social Studies class.



Health:

-Outline and rough draft for Health Brochures should be ready for next Health class.


Visual Arts:
-Practice sketching the human nose. 


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation activities.
-Dance routines will be performed next Day 5.
