Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Create a more complex theory using the prompts we came up in class. This is due by Friday for HANDING IN (3/4 of a page minimum).
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right" book ready for every reading class.

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!!!!!!:


-Writing:
-One page response to the milk argument (see google classroom for more details).


-Media Literacy:
-Looking at the Media and how it affects our eating choices (connected to Health unit).



Math:

-Pg. 191 #4-7 and Pg. 397 #4a (True or False) #6a)b).
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Complete the research you are to collect for your assigned Source of Energy (e.g. Wind, Nuclear, Electrical, Coal, Natural Gas) for the "jigsaw" activity.

Social Studies:
-Come up with 5 questions about the two inventions First Nations people came up with and choose one of the questions and research the answer. Use the organizer from today's class to answer this.


Health:

-Scenario Worksheet (front AND back).


Visual Arts:
-Sketching - Word Art: Sketch an object by using words.
