Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:

-Reading:
-For your independent reading at home, mark pages with post-it notes where your character(s) act "out-of-character" and then think deeply and come up with a theory why they are acting out of character.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right" book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:
-Locate one Primary Source of research to include in your research reports.

-Looking at the Media and how it affects our eating choices (connected to Health unit).

-Properties of Matter "How it's Made" assignment due next Science class.

Social Studies:

-Complete the Bill Proposals Graphic Organizers and be prepared to present your bills in a town hall meeting for next Social Studies class.


Health:

-Choose one of the three commercials we watched today and rated and answer the questions on the back of the page you received today..


Visual Arts:
-Sketching - Selection of a variety of fruit.
