Homework, News, and Announcements

Friday's Asynchronous work

For Friday please complete the following work:

Literacy:

-Review your narrative stories and revise to make sure you have edited your work after I provided you feedback and comments. Then make sure you are up to date on all the skills and strategies we have gone through so far...if you're behind on this, it's a perfect opportunity to catch up and strengthen your story!

Math:

-If not completed the assignment from Thursday, please complete the assignment. It is officially due on Friday.

-If completed, answer these reflection questions in your Math Journals:

1.) Can you summarize what have you learned about patterns in this unit?

2.) How do we know if something is a pattern?

3.) Where can we find patterns around us?

Science:

-Slide 22: Complete at home. Experiments A or C and ONLY if you have the materials and adult supervision.

-Slide 28: Then explore some or all of the links on the slide. This is independent exploration so enjoy it.

-Slide 30: Choose one of the simple machines listed which uses a pulley system and answer the following question: "How does it work?"
