On Wednesday June 8th at 11:25am, we will be having the Ontario SPCA come in to present a workshop for our students.
The Ontario SPCA is a Non Government Organization that takes care of animals that no longer have a home to live in. They are not only an adoption agency, but also an educational facility for students and adults all over Canada. Some of our grade 6 students have been working with the SPCA in Stouffville and participating in their Junior Student ambassador program. The program is coming to an end and therefore we have been able to arrange a presentation with the SPCA to teach us about the program, animals and adoption process.
