Homework, News, and Announcements

Hello parents/guardians.

For your sheduled interviews on Thursday November 17th and Friday November 18th, please just click on the link below at the exact time of your interview.

Every parent will be interviewing using the same Google meet so much like in a real classroom setting, when the next scheduled meeting "shows up in the room" the one that is ending will have to end.

Language:


-Reading:
-Synthesis Retells for Chapter 6. - Due on Thursday November 18th.
-PLEASE BRING (or have available) an independent reading text (a "Just Right" text).
-Here is our class "EPIC Reading" code: ury6154.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Will be using our tools outlined today to Self-Assess, Edit, and Revise our stories. When done that, revise using Number the Stars as a "mentor text" from Wednesday's lesson.
-Pick a story from your portfolio and revicse it to include a "big meaning." Can also revise using the 4 points we discussed in today's lesson.


-Media Literacy:
-Social Justice Products and Services websites - Presentations now complete.


Math:

-Representing Fractions as Decimals Action Task Questions.

Science:
-Assignment #1 presentations now complete!


Social Studies:
-Have parents/guardians complete the survey that is posted on the Social Studies Google Classroom and then put "stickie notes" on the class Jamboard from the reported responses.



Visual Arts:

-"Stippling" and "Pointillism" Art now copmlete! 


Drama/Dance:

-Inclusivity role-plays have now begun. Will be due for presentation in two classes.
