Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-We have started reading the class novel "Seepeetza."
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Cursive W,X.
-Revise your research report based on our lesson about "Multiple Perspectives" on your research topic.

-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:

-We have begun work on our Math Fashion design project.
-Sign up to "Knowledgehook" Math website (instructions posted on the Math Google classroom) .
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-We have begun working on our Conservation of Energy Research Project.


Social Studies:
-First Nations Language Map and legend - DUE FOR HANDING IN next day.



Health:

-Public Service Announcements due next Health class. Examples posted on the SOCIAL STUDIES Google classroom.


Visual Arts:

-Sketching week #5: Dream catcher. 


Drama/Dance:

-Staying in character package (except for the last page).
