Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-1/2 Page predictions detailing not only what they will do but HOW a character will act.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Have a topic picked BY Monday so that you can then create your post-It Notes/planning booklets. 

-Media Literacy:
-Health brochures now complete.



Math:

-Pg. 66 #2 and #4 - Post your graphs for #2.) A.) to the Google classroom if you have the technology means.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Chemical Changes and Chemical Properties worksheet notes and questions #1,2,3,4.


Social Studies:
-Running an Election activity. Complete the sheet that shows the order of how an election is run.



Health:

-Watch two FOOD or BEVERAGE commercials (online, on T.V., etc.) then fill in two rows (one for each commercial) of the Health sheet from the January 8th class.


Visual Arts:
-Good copies of personal portraits due January 24th


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation activities.
-Dance routines now completed and performed.
