Homework, News, and Announcements

***Self Advocacy cards NOW DUE.***


Language:


-Reading:
-RRJ entry about empathizing and then making connections and inferences.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Verb tense/punctuation/grammar chart...complete the three columns of the chart (student choice or another part of speech e.g. verbs, adverbs, prepositions).- Final Submission of Personal Narratives due December 14th. 

-Media Literacy:
-"All About Me" websites now complete.



Math:

-Patterning Quiz completed today.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-Three States of Matter worksheets.
-Activity #1 (posted to Google classroom).
-Phases of Water Gizmo (https://www.explorelearning.com).


Social Studies:
-Research a form of Government from around the world and present it in your choice of either a: slide show, Google Site, Prezi, Powerpoint, etc.-PRESENTATIONS NOW CURRENTLY ONGOING.



Health:

-Good copy for Health Brochures due by next Health class (Dec. 18th).


Visual Arts:
-Began sketching the rough draft of our self portraits


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation activities.
-Dance routines now completed and performed.
