Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Complete reading partner interviews and write results of the interview in reading response journal.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Put in a "flashback" or a "flash-forward" into the Personal Narratives.


-Media Literacy:
-Working on "All About Me" websites-Due for presentation TOMORROW.



Math:

-Mid-unit quiz was completed yesterday...please parents/guardians always check these and get them signed so that the teacher can be assured that you see all work that goes home.
-Here is a good site for Math support for the Nelson Math program: 


Science:
-The following is all from the same package (which was posted on Google classroom):
-Take notes/highlight Respiratory System information sheet.
-Then fill in the Respiratory system diagram and the fill in the blanks (organ parts) sheet.
-Complete Activity #1 from the Respiratory System package (Activity #2 is OPTIONAL to complete at home WITH the supervision of a trusted adult.).


Social Studies:
-Make sure you have completed all three columns of the Levels of Government Scavenger hunt sheet in preparation for our upcoming quiz next week on Day 1 (October 26th - this will be delayed).
-Map of the 3 levels of government is also due that day.


Health:

-Health Lesson "Exit Card."


Visual Arts:
-Practice sketching the human mouth. 


Drama:
-Working on Improvisation activities.
