Homework, News, and Announcements - 家庭作业、新闻和公告

 Updates from the current day are always in yellow highlights.


Language:

-Reading:

-Read up to the end of Chapter 6 of Number the Stars. Students are to complete a RETELL of the story up to that point. Notes posted on the Reading Google Classroom. This is due for submission on Thursday October 30th.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Revise your stories to put in a Flashback or Flashforward. See Google Class notes. Writing progress was submitted today for a check-in.
-Cursive letter "I."



-Media Literacy:
-Web Design Projects now being presented!. Now due...submit on the WRITING GOOGLE CLASSROOM.


Math:
-Patterning Unit Lesson #4. Complete the Math Journal reflection questions posted at the end of the lesson notes. I've also reworded and posted them on the post as well to more easily understand. See Math Google Classroom. 

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Worked on Hinterland Who's Who Assignment. Will be worked more on in class. Will be due on Monday November 3rd.


Social Studies:
-Task #4 worked on. Due for presenting (quick one!) on Thursday, October 30th.


Visual Arts:
-Painting silhouettes completed. Time this week will be given for those that need a bit more time.

Health:

-Hunger and thirst cues skits worked on. Will be presented on Wednesday October 29th

Drama/Dance:
-Introduced Lesson #5 Cultural Dance Research Project. Will be given more time to work on. Due on Wednesday, November 5th.

语言:
-阅读:
-阅读《数星星》一书至第六章末。学生需完成截至目前为止的故事复述。笔记已发布在阅读Google Classroom上。截止提交日期为10月30日星期四。

科学:
