Language:

-Reading:

-Describe when you've been a Curmudgeon when reading before and then write how you read optimistically. See Reading Google Classroom notes. Complete the Discussion questions posted on the Google Classroom about "Number The Stars." Read up until Chapter 4 of "Number the Stars".
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Choose a "Seed Idea" from a story you've already written from your Writer's Journal so far. Write a "Flash Draft" story about this idea. See Google Classroom notes.
-Cursive letter "E."



-Media Literacy:
-Worked on Web Design Project.


Math:
-New unit: Classifying Whole Numbers. Complete the diagnostic attached to the Math Google Classroom (completed in class and taken up). 

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Worked on Task #3. Students will be given more time to work on it in class. DUE DATE WILL BE Wednesday October 8th.


Social Studies:
-Task #2 worked on. Students will be given more time to work on this.


Visual Arts:
-Worked on Limited Colour Palette Collage about Truth and Reconciliation. Due on Thursday, October 2nd.
