Language:

-Reading:

-Answer Fifth section questions now posted. While reading the FIFTH section (pages 82-97) of "To Hope and Back", make note of unfamiliar words and use the lesson from today to decode them and use them in everyday life.  See Google Classroom notes.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Make another draft of your essay to add more evidence (i.e. information, quotations, etc.). See Google Classroom notes. 
-Morpheme work. Complete Week 6 Day 1. See Google Classroom post.


-Media Literacy:
-The "Who is Creating this message?" Media Literacy task is now due!


Math:
-Location and Movement Assessment will be on Tuesday, May 12th. 
-Next quiz will be for /9. See Divisibility rules reference sheet. 

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Electricity Design Challenge now due! First Flight lesson introduced and will be worked on tomorrow.


Social Studies:
-Canada's Interactions with the Global Community Assignment #1 worked on. Assignment #1 will be due on Thursday May 14th.


Visual Arts:
-Graffiti Art introduced. Pablo Picasso inspired art due on Wednesday May 13th.

Health:

-Health Scenarios were presented. 


Drama/Dance:
-Fractured Fairy Tales worked on today. Due for presentation on Thursday May 14th.
