Homework, News, and Announcements - 家庭作业、新闻和公告

Updates from the current day are always in yellow highlights. Work is always due by the next time we have that subject unless otherwise stated.

Language:

-Reading:

-Read up to page 60 of "To Hope and Back" and complete the Section #3 questions attached to the Reading Google Classroom. 
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
- Write another personal narrative by using ideas that were inspired by reading other authors' writing. Don't forget to use the skills you learned about the "Dreaming the Story" lesson. See Writing Google Classroom notes.
-Cursive letter "C."  


-Media Literacy:
-Presentations ongoing for our Web Design projects.


Math:
-Classifying Whole Numbers Lesson #2 Action Task and Your Turn Questions.  To be completed by Friday.  
-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Biodiversity Task #4 introduced and worked on. To be finished by next Science class next week. Task #3 now due. Please submit to the Science Google Classroom assignment. 


Social Studies:
-Worked on Task #2. Due by next Social Studies class on Tuesday October, 20th.


Visual Arts:
-Worked on our painting project of a "graded" night sky and silhouettes. See The Arts Google Classroom. Due for completion next art class on October 19th.

Health:

-Completed Hunger and Thirst Cue responses on chart paper. Completed in class.

Drama/Dance:

-Introduced the Dance Research Project. Will be worked on next day. See The Arts Google Classroom.
