Homework, News, and Announcements - 家庭作业、新闻和公告

Updates from the current day are always in yellow highlights. Work is always due by the next time we have that subject unless otherwise stated.

Language:

-Reading:

-Read up to page 43 of "To Hope and Back." Answer response questions posted on the Reading Google Classroom.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
- Next day, we will write our SECOND personal narrative based on the "Generating Ideas" lesson we had today in class and the "Dreaming the Story" lesson. See Writing Google Classroom notes. Will be worked on next writing day.
-Cursive letter "B."  


-Media Literacy:
-Worked on our Web Design project. Due for submitting on October 13th.


Math:
-Estimating and Comparing Whole Numbers Review. Assessment will be Thursday, October 8th.  
-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Biodiversity Task #3 worked on. Due on October 8th. 


Social Studies:
-Worked on Task #2. To be continued next Social Studies class.


Visual Arts:
-Began our painting project of a "graded" night sky and silhouettes. See The Arts Google Classroom. Limited colour collages are now due (I just posted the assignment on Friday afternoon October 2nd).

Health:

-Reflection questions for your table's assigned scenario now due. See the Health Google Classroom.

Drama/Dance:

-Introduced the Dance Research Project. Will be worked on next day. See The Arts Google Classroom.
