Language:

-Reading:

-Read up to Chapter 2 of the City of Ember. Digital versions now available on the Reading Google Classroom both in English and in Mandarin. 
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Biographies worked on. Transfer the notes collected from the top 6 boxes of your graphic organizer into a Google Doc. of 6 paragraphs and full sentences. Review Paragraphs lesson notes shared today in class (and on the Writing Google Classroom). 
-Cursive letter "S."


-Media Literacy:
-N/A.


Math:
-3D Surface area of Prisms and Pyramids Concept questions. See Math Google Classroom. Assessment will be on Tuesday January 13th.

Social Studies:
-Assignment Part B worked on. Due on Thursday January 15th for submitting.


Visual Arts:
-Introduced Land Inspired Line Art. Will work more on next Art Class.
