Homework, News, and Announcements

Hello parents and guardians. Please access our curriculum night presentation by having your child log into their student accounts and going to the Social Studies Google classroom where you will find all the presentation materials.

Language:


-Reading:
-Make notes of your interview answers with your new reading partner (see Google classroom).
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:
-Grade 5 and 6's - Revise your personal narratives to elaborate on important parts of your story as was taught in Thursday's lesson.


-Media Literacy:

Math:

-Write a Journal reflection in your Math notebooks reflecting on which strategies which were helpful in today's work with our puzzle packing company game (from Thursday...this will be our second Math Journal Entry and this will be checked on Friday for completion).

-Grade 5: Have now completed working on the Musculoskeletal System.
-Grade 6: Work has begun on our "Hinterland - Who's Who" video presentation.

Social Studies:

Health:
-Grade 5's: Exit card and then write out the steps Emily took to solve her problem using the Decision Making Model (posted on the Health Google Classroom) from part 1 of the video - Due Friday October 23rd.
Grade 6's: Write out your responses to the 3 scenarios on the Health Google Classroom - Due Friday October 23rd.

Visual Arts:
-Collages due for completion by Monday October 26. Google assignment has been attached to the Visual Arts Google Classroom.


Drama/Dance:
