Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:


-Reading:
-Choose 2 to 3 words from your reading today and come up with definitions of those words based on our lesson today in reading.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Grade 5 and 6's - Revise your personal narratives to fit the story arc as was taught in Monday's lesson.

-Grade 5: Currently working on the Musculoskeletal System. Watch the Bill Nye Video now posted on the Science Google Classroom for our Wednesday Class.

Social Studies:

Health:
-Grade 5's: Exit card and then write out the steps Emily took to solve her problem using the Decision Making Model (posted on the Health Google Classroom) from part 1 of the video - Due Friday October 23rd.
Grade 6's: Write out your responses to the 3 scenarios on the Health Google Classroom - Due Friday October 23rd.

Visual Arts:
-Collages due for completion by Monday October 26. Google assignment has been attached to the Visual Arts Google Classroom.
