Homework, News, and Announcements



Language:



-Reading:
-Chapter 9 discussion questions for "Number the Stars" (posted to Google Classroom) due AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT READING LESSON. 
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Make revisions based on the Story Arc from the last writing lesson.

-Media Literacy:
-"All About Me" web pages due for presentation next day 5 - Now Ongoing!


Math:

-Please get performance task signed by parents/guardians. 
-SUMMATIVE "Show What You Know" now complete. Please get signed.
-Journal entry reflecting on your growth and understanding of the "Big Ideas" over the course of the unit now due. 
-***Extra practice from Nelson Math Grade 6 text book posted on the Math Google classroom. Choose questions from the selected pages that will support your learning.
-"Knowledgehook" (sign up when we get the class code).

Science:
-Assignment #1 due by in TWO Science classes.

-Task #3 due next Social Studies class.
