Homework, News, and Announcements


***PLEASE BRING BACK SCIENCE TASK 1 RUBRICS ON TUESDAY.***



Language:



-Reading:
-Chapter 7 discussion questions for "Number the Stars" (posted to Google Classroom) due AT THE BEGINNING OF NEXT READING LESSON. 
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 

-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Make revisions based on the adding in an ending that creates a Theme or Lesson for your story (from today's writing lesson).

-Media Literacy:
-"All About Me" web pages due for presentation next day 5.


Math:

-Performance Task completed and now handed back...please get signed by parents/guardians.
-Journal entry reflecting on your growth and understanding of the "Big Ideas" over the course of the unit. 
-***Extra practice from Nelson Math Grade 6 text book posted on the Math Google classroom. Choose questions from the selected pages that will support your learning.
-"Knowledgehook" (sign up when we get the class code).

Science:
-Task #4 due by next Science class.  


Social Studies:
-Task #2 due next Social Studies class for handing in and assessment.


Health:

-Please see Parent/Guardian and student cooperative activity on the Health Google Classroom.
-Student exit card due next day.


Visual Arts: 
-Consumerism/Cultural Pride collage with explanation due next Thursday.


Drama/Dance:
-Working on Improvisation unit.
