Language:

-Reading:

-Read Hatchet up to the end of Chapter 9. Then do a 1/2 page Reading Response Journal entry visualizing what you read. See Google Classroom notes. Then complete the worksheet questions attached to the post.

-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:

-Edit for adjectives using the same chart for editing as last day. See the writing Google Classroom. Personal Narratives due on November 12th.

-Media Literacy:

-Netiquette and Cyber-Safety Lesson continued. See notes in the WRITING Google Classroom. Complete the posted Scenario questions. Due next Day 5.

Math:

-Patterning Lesson #7 introduced. Work will be assigned tomorrow.

Science:

-Show What you Know review notes given. See Google Class notes. Assessment will be next Monday November 11th (unless this has to be delayed for Remembrance day).

Social Studies:

-Task #4 introduced. Groups were created. Will be presented next Social Studies class for assessment.

Visual Arts:

-Began painting Remembrance day symbols in the style of Pointillism.

Health:

Hunger and Thirst cues scenarios worked on. One more work period before scenarios are to be presented.

Drama/Dance:

-First Afrobeats workshop completed today.

-Introduction to the Dance lesson today. Studied how dance can evolve through the years.
