-Reading:
-Focus questions were taken up...ALSO...Complete Retells for Number the Stars up to chapter 5.
-PLEASE BRING (or have available) an independent reading text (a "Just Right" text).
-Here is our class "EPIC Reading" code: ury6154.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:
-Will be using our tools outlined today to Self-Assess, Edit, and Revise our stories. Will spend more time doing this next day.
-Pick a story from your portfolio and revicse it to include a "big meaning." Can also revise using the 4 points we discussed in today's lesson.


-Media Literacy:

-Relating Decimals to Fractions Lesson #1 Action Task and Your Turn Questions (and read through Consolidation Questions) now due.
