Homework, News, and Announcements

Ladies and gentlemen....for Friday October 15th and our asynchronous learning day your responsibilities are for the following (in order of priority!):

1.) Prepare for the Math Assessment on Monday. REMEMBER TO SEND ME IN YOUR RESULTS FROM THE SKILL QUESTIONS /8 AND THE CONCEPT QUESTIONS /6.

2.) Catch up on anything you need to finish (or perhaps something that's already due and you haven't yet handed it in yet).

-Reading:
-Write notes/observations of your reading partner how they read as a "curmudgeon" and how they read with positivity and optimism while "letting the book IN".
-PLEASE BRING (or have available) an independent reading text (a "Just Right" text).
-Here is our class "EPIC Reading" code: ury6154.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class. 
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:


-Writing:
-Make three goals for your writing after reviewing the Narrative Writing Checklist.


-Media Literacy:
-Working on our Social Justice Products and Services websites - Due for presentation Thursday October 14th.

-Assessment for Integers and Ratios and Rates on Monday October 18th.
