Language:

-Reading:

-Literature Circles. Completed sixth round of Literature circle tasks. Read up to Chapter 5 for The Children of Willesden Lane.

-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.

-Writing:
-Poetry Lesson #4. Choose an idea for a "seed" poem to develop and do a Poetry Response to the attached poem on the Writing Google Classroom. See Google Classroom notes. 


-Media Literacy:
-News reports now being presented.


Math:
-Review for Integers, Ratio, and Rate assessment. Skill Questions. Assessment on Wednesday June 11th. 
-Here are some math resources to explore for extra support: 

-Final Flight Task introduced and worked on. Due date to still be announced.


Social Studies:
-Canada's Interactions with the Global Community Assignment #2 introduced and worked on. This is an ongoing daily journal activity so there is no particular due date. 


Visual Arts:
-Visual Arts and Culture reflection introduced. Due next Day 5 on June 10th.



Health:
-Began Growth and Development Unit.
-Began lesson on "Preventative Measures for Safety". See Google Classroom.


Drama/Dance:
-Fractured Fairytales presented.
