-Reading:
-Reading Response Journal Entry on empathizing with a character to write a response on what the character might be feeling (3/4 of a page and unfinished homework will result in a phone call home...due day 5).
-Choose an online digital library book to read with your reading partner.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!
-ALWAYS have a "Just Right" book ready for every reading class.

Dear Parents/Guardian,
Next week is the last week to return Winter Electives registration forms. Our grade 4-8 students will be given the opportunity to enjoy two, fun-filled days up Snow Valley in Barrie, Ontario (Tuesday, January 9th and Wednesday, January 17th).  Sign up your child for skiing, snowboarding, or tubing.  Registration packages outlining all the details have been sent home with every student.  Please return your completed forms to your child's homeroom teacher, and please make your payments using SchoolCashOnline.
