Homework, News, and Announcements

Language:

-Reading:

-Paying attention to small details to help us visualize and to help us predict. New Reading Response Journal entry.
-Predictions reading response journal entry from last week now overdue.
-Here is our class "Epic Reading" code: ubx3440.
-STUDENTS SHOULD ALWAYS BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY ON A REGULAR BASIS!

-ALWAYS have a "Just Right"  (grade level, appropriate, etc.) book ready for every reading class.
-The following website you can now sign out books in the York Region District School Board DIGITAL LIBRARY!:
-Writing:
-Pick ONE STORY and complete your flash draft of the "story-moment" Look at the writing notes on the Google Classroom to support you in doing this. 
-Cursive Letter "N".



-Media Literacy:

Math:
-Geometry Lesson: Rotational Symmetry. Action Task was done in groups today. Complete the "Lesson #2 Geometry Questions" attached to the Math Google Classroom. Classifying Whole Numbers Test was returned today. Please get it signed and returned.

-Here are some good math resources to explore: 

-Worked on Task #2. Debates and arguments are due for presenting next day 1.


Social Studies:
-Worked on Assignment #1 for Social Studies. Continue writing your poem and then working on the slideshow that goes with it. Please see Google Class Comments.


Visual Arts:
-Introduced to Islamic Art. See Visual Arts Google Classroom.


Health:
-Introduced to the Choice Board from Thursday's lesson. See Health Google Classroom. DUE THIS THURSDAY.


Drama/Dance:
-Dance group presentations completed.
